Wind Turbines Operational
Topic: EnergyThe last few months a major assembly work for 10 wind turbines took place at Vader Piet, in St. Nicolas.
These wind turbines are expected to bring some stability to the consumer prices in Aruba. According to the wind turbines operator whenever the oil prices are $55 per barrel or higher, the windmills are cheaper for the consumers than the conventional diesel generators.
As of today three turbines are operational while all of them are expected to be operational by the end of the year.
