Gasoline Drops Again
Topic: EnergyFor the second month in a row, gasoline prices in Aruba dropped. It wasn’t as dramatically as it was last month, however, the gasoline prices are not at levels not seen in at least more than 2 years. In the last two months, gasoline dropped with 39%.
In comparison to Aruba’s largest trading partner – the US – it still seems overpriced. Today the US national average is at $1.69 per gallon. In the pre-summer period, the gasoline price in Aruba typically averaged just over a dollar against the US average, with now being a difference of $1.70.
The expectation is that Aruba gasoline price could drop even further, reaching levels of prices not seen on this island for many years. For the latest prices, please visit arubalife.net/gasoline

The fuel prices are helpful but bear in mind that these prices vary per destination if you are dealing with an airline business. I assume that the table shown is just a glimbs of the average fuel price per month as this fluctautes weekly in the market

I’m not sure what figures you are referring to, but above post was written when the oil prices where coming down from record highs last summer.
The intention of the comparison with the average US price against Aruba prices was mere meant to illustrate the rather large gap that exist with this island and its biggest trading partner.
The oil industry is a very complex one, that’s for sure.
Thank you very much for you comment.
